News from Our Chronic Pain Mission

Hello & Welcome to our 3rd Newsletter

So we've been a little tardy with the keeping in touch business - no excuses here.

Cyn has been busy redesigning the look of many of the OCPM webpages, arronb has been tripping his way thru Europe, Sab has been busy with her new job and, unfortunately, Papa and Rhonda have been busy with health related problems.

If you haven't done so already - go check out the new look webpages of OCPM

ATTENTION!
RSD PATIENTS!

A special report is being written for the
BMA British Medical Association's
annual magazine and
RSD STORIES ARE NEEDED DESPRATELY!

This magazine is sent to all British Physicians
in the United Kingdom and the
'RSD Special Report'
is being written to help raise
their RSD awareness!

Your RSD stories are needed to help!

Stories will be included
to show the increasing numbers
of suffering RSD patients
and it's serious effects on them.

You can help by sending your story to:

LET'S GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER

We at OCPM would like to get to know all of you a little better,

So to get us started,
this week's victim - arronb

surfin Hi my name is arronb
I live in Perth, Western Australia
I am 34 years of age - the baby of the OCPM Fab Five !!!
Of course it would help if the rest
of the Fab Five weren't such old farts LOL

Sorry about the quality of my fellow Aussies here,
My scanning skills need some work LOL

You can tell by these photos that we're a fit lot down under,
before CP I used to partake in both these sports.

Of course my real name isn't arronb - it's
Gavin. I happened across my nickname (arronb)
when I first started using the internet 5 years ago.

I have been a Chronic Pain sufferer for 4 years
I fell off some scaffolding at work and stuffed up my back.
I had surgery at L5/S1 in 1996, 10 months after my accident,
and have suffered with CP ever since.

My involvement withOur Chronic Pain Mission started after the
infamous demise of that other place (can't mention the name here LOL)
I help out here by just being me !!! LOL
No really it's the truth.
Oh OK then, I help out with HTML,
and by keeping the old farts 'online' !!!

ridin'

This week OCPM enrolled in a new stat tracker.
Many of you will be familar with Cyn bemoaning the lack of visitors to OCPM
- well with this new stat tracker we are able to confirm

Compliments to Cyn

Cyn really has been a busy lady of late - writing to many Chronic Pain sites, swapping links and generally drumming up support for OCPM
Below are some of the compliments OCPM has been recieving

Sure. Thanks for letting us know about it.
Don't feel you have to link to our site.
It's not required at all.
Our next update is in July,
so you'll find yourself added then.
Thank you :-)

Hi Cynthia,

I will definitely add your link to my site and would be grateful if you could
add mine to yours. Glad you like my site it is very small compared to
yours. I'm writing a report for the BMA (British Medical Association) for
their magazine which goes to all British Physicians so would raise rsd
awareness in the uk immensly. If you can help me with anyone who would
e-mail me their rsd story to add to the ones I have I would be extremely
grateful. I will send a copy of the report when published if you would like
me to.

Thanks for showing an interest in my site

Love Trudy

Dear Cynthia,

Thank you for making us aware of your new site. We have placed a link to it
on our site under Comprehensive Information Sites. It should be visible
sometime later today. We look forward to seeing your efforts grow.

Please include us in your links.
